Liliana Aguilar-Perez, MEd, LPC-Associate
Supervised by Dr. Gregory Scott Sparrow, EdD, LPC-S
I'm Lily Aguilar Perez, an LPC-Associate under the supervision of Dr. Gregory S. Sparrow, proficient in both English and Spanish. I support adults ages 18 and above through a range of challenges including trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, parenting difficulties, and more.
I immigrated to the United States from Mexico at the age of 7 years old. Las Cruces, New Mexico became my hometown and its mountains my favorite place. A job opportunity brought me to Texas 7 years ago, where I met my husband and decided to make Texas my permanent home. When I'm not “adulting”, I'm all about creating memorable experiences with my husband, pets, family, and friends. I enjoy reading, games, puzzles, gardening, cooking, baking, cross-stitching, traveling, music, and soaking in all the new experience life throws at me. I am big on nurturing my inner child because it helps me let loose and it adds a whole lot of color to everyday moments.
I hold an M.Ed. in Counseling, with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health and a Primary Care Behavioral Health Consultant certificate from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I bring over a decade of collaborative experience, including 4 years as a Family Coach.
I am committed to fostering an environment that is accepting, non-judgmental, supportive, and empathetic. I empower clients to advocate for themselves, explore their concerns, enhance self-understanding, and navigate life's complexities. Creating a safe space for trying new behaviors and facilitating authentic growth is at the core of my dedication. My passion is assisting adults in overcoming childhood trauma, guiding them through the process of healing their inner child, and achieving regulation of their nervous system.
