Meditation Support

I have meditated almost every day for over 50 years, and I believe it's the best adjunct to therapy available. While meditation can be done for its mental and physical effects, it will supplement any spiritual practice you already have in place.

Here's a couple of links that I send to my clients when they ask about how to meditate.

Fr. Keating's Centering Prayer has been considered a wonderful "Western" orientation to meditation, drawing upon the contemplative Christian tradition of "naked" or non-discursive prayer. But it maps perfectly onto various Eastern practices.

Tara Brach's (www.tarabrach.com) and her co-presenters' approach has its roots in the Buddhist tradition, but can be practiced by anyone regardless of religious background, or the absence thereof.
