Oscar Higareda, MA, LPC
At times, we may not have been taught how to navigate our emotions, process our thoughts, or ask for help. I've encountered individuals who, despite their strength, felt uneasy about seeking assistance. This is a natural response; you've had to be resilient. However, this doesn't mean you shouldn't have the opportunity to process these experiences; you have every right to acknowledge your emotions and should be able to thrive and lead a healthier life. If you allow me, I can offer you a secure and non-judgmental environment to explore these emotions and thoughts, and together, we can strive for more positive perspectives.
My professional journey has exposed me to a wide range of individuals and conditions. I specialize in Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Crisis, Anger, Adolescent, Men's issues, and Self-esteem problems. My clinical expertise was honed in refugee and foster shelters, crisis programs, and local non-profit organizations.
Reaching out for help can be a challenging step, one that requires a significant amount of courage. As your therapist, I want to assure you that I deeply respect and honor this bravery. We will work collaboratively at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we will uncover the inherent strengths that may be difficult to recognize at the moment.
