I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. My passion for supporting others in their inner growth journey comes from a combination of my own personal healing journey and the needs I have identified in society.

I’ve worked with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, anger issues, panic attacks, relationships problems, trauma, identity issues, problems with boundaries, self-doubt, acculturation issues, marital problems, and significant life losses. My goal is to provide a respectful, honest, encouraging, and non-judgmental environment in which patients can feel the freedom to explore their thoughts, feelings, and goals and figure out what their needs are, what goals they want to achieve, what obstacles are in their way, and what steps they need to take to achieve the life they envision. I approach therapy through a relational, systemic, and client-centered lens, with emphasis on personal responsibility. My therapeutic techniques draw from Client-Centered Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral-Therapy, and Bowenian Therapy. I also incorporate faith-related practices to enhance therapeutic progress if patients are open to this.
I believe it's a privilege to be able to walk alongside someone in their process of getting rid of unuseful patterns and tapping into their inner strengths to heal and achieve their full potential. If this is a journey you would like to embark on, take the next step and book an appointment with me!
